PMP Certified, Fellow of the Royal
Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce
(The RSA), Chartered Manager (CMgr) as well as Chartered Engineer
(CEng), I am Registered Expert for over 10 international funding
bodies, and I have been working since 1984 with a track record of
international, national and corporate projects successful
completion (for over 300 million Euro) of which 12 projects rescued
and successfully completed (for over 30 million Euro). I have been
crucial in the acquisition of over 21 projects (for over 62 million
Euro) and can count on a strong connection with industry and
academia (over 100 industrial partners/customers and 70
universities/research centres).
I have been managing small and large teams (up to
100 professionals mostly with MSc in Engineering or Computer
Science). I am comfortable in operating within multinational and
multicultural environments being able to communicate effectively in
4 languages and used to work in teams. In this respect, my
experience in the army during Operation Desert Storm has been
extremely useful for the development of my leadership
skills.
I have written several scientific articles,
position papers, book chapters and the market analysis adopted as
the starting point of the EC Special Task Force for Multimedia
& Education. I teach management, planning, problem solving and
strategy to senior managers and academics as well as to
postgraduates. I have also taught Research Methods and Ethics, ICT
and Critical Thinking to undergraduate and
professionals.
I value much the mutual exchange of opinions and
knowledge. I believe in openness and transparency, I always accept
and provide fair criticism.
I strongly believe that integrity, honesty, trust
and knowledge are my greatest assets along with my extensive
experience in: research, quality assurance, portfolio / programme /
project management, problem solving, innovation and knowledge
management, teaching / training and knowledge transfer (both in
academia and in industry) and publication (both as editor / author
and as reviewer).

Pedro Roseiro is presently
I.Zone's CEO and Executive Board Member at TICE.pt. I.Zone is a
technology investment group that holds positions in companies at
Information Systems Consultancy, Software R&D+I, Multimedia,
Games and Medical Devices. In 2009 I.Zone group established a
R&D+I unit with focus on domains like Affective Computing,
Organizational Learning, Knowledge and Innovation Management,
Semantic Web, Information Retrieval and Representation, Rapid
Application Development with Semantic Validation, e-Health, AAL and
e-Government. Most of its projects resulted from strong cooperation
links with Academia and other SMEs. He acts several times as
Program or Project Manager and manages Proposal Writing. He is also
a Senior Information Systems Consultant with expertise in Local and
Regional Government domains. He cooperates actively on strategic
planning, Information Systems alignment, Organizational Learning
and Performance Evaluation at Municipalities as a result of his
more than 25 years’ experience. TICE.pt is the Portuguese National
ICT Cluster and it was created in 2008 having its headquarters in
Aveiro.The orchestration platform TICE.PT ensures and promotes the
interfaces Academia, represented by universities and R&D
institutes; companies, represented as associates or through
networks and business associations. TICE.pt is the formal leader of
ICT4Future, a recognized European Strategic Cluster Partnership,
since October 2012, together with GAIA, Aerospace Valley, Pôle SCS,
Momentum, IT@Cork, Clusterland Sweden and Mazovia ICT Cluster.
TICE.pt was one of the first Clusters in Portugal to be awarded
with Clusters’ Excellence Bronze Label and it holds now the Gold
Label. He is presently running an MsC in Computer Engineering at
Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. His
specialization areas are Enterprise Information Systems, Innovation
and Knowledge Management in SMEs (his on-going Master Thesis
subject).
Angelo Marco

Marco focuses on the use of
innovative models and technologies for the design, deployment,
follow-up and evaluation of User Experiences. His expertise covers
participative and engaging culture and approaches, Design Thinking,
Open Innovation, scientifically-validated supporting theories
- Experiential Learning, Self Determination Theory, Situated
Learning, Connectivism, Flow, Implicit Person Theory etc.,
“good” gamification - implementation of gaming design techniques in
non-gaming contexts to make sense and add value to the end user
(e.g. beyond instant gratification, touching the intrinsic
motivation of the user as in the case of
aiming at / achieving long term
objectives, and so on), Serious Games - to better engage
Users / Learners, collaborative / social interaction modes in
virtual / F2F / blended settings.
Marco has 15+ years of project
management in international and multicultural settings. Last years’
projects were mostly about executive education whilst previously
more on eLearning and multimedia. He could enrich user experiences
by using collaborative platforms (InnoTube), Serious Games
(EagleRacing, EIS/Synergy, WhatADay!), Gamification in domains such
as Open Innovation (LABORANOVA project), Competence Development
(TENCOMPETENCE project), and Soft Skills like Collaboration,
Creativity (COLLAGE project), Change Mgmt, Leadership in a Crisis
Mgmt context (L4S project), Intelligence & Critical Thinking
(LEILA project). He addressed also entrepreneurship education
(ENTREDU project), fragmentation between research and industry in
the Serious Games domain (GaLA project), eGOV (Rural Inclusion
project), immersive 3D virtual worlds (RENAISSANCE project),
virtual characters enhancement (MELIES project), Mixed Reality
(art-E-fact project), HCI (E-TRACKING project), iDTV (ELU project),
access to digital cultural content (eCHASE project), skill-based
scouting of open management content (OpenScout), and cultural
content digitisation and brokering (ML-IMAGES! project) as well,
sometimes taking care of project results exploitation and
dissemination.

She works as full professor at
Vilnius Gediminas Technical University and Jonas Žemaitis Military
Academy of Lithuania. Director of VsI ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND
